The Nampa Police department is pleased to announce its participation in the Alive at 25 defensive driving program. Nampa Police, in cooperation with the Idaho Transportation Department and National Safety Council, is teaching classes for the Alive at 25 program. The class is geared for young drivers that are 15-24 years of age. The 4 ½ hour course is in a classroom setting, there is no behind the wheel driving. Only certified law enforcement officers teach this course. Each class is free, and promotes responsibility and commitment to safe driving practices.
