The following incident types may be reported using the online crime report:
- Lost Property
- Credit/Debit Card Fraud
- Theft from Business
- Theft from Residence
- Theft from Vehicle
- Theft from Outbuilding
- Other Theft
- Littering
- Vandalism
For auto or firearm thefts, do not use the online form. Please contact police dispatch at 208-465-2257 to speak with an officer, as these items have to be entered into NCIC.
Instructions
Option 1) Complete the "Online" form, which will send the completed form automatically to the police department records division, as well as give you an option to save the completed report.
Option 2) Save the PDF form to your system (click file, then "save as"), then complete and print the form, and either mail the completed form or bring it to NPD. (Use this option if you have additional paperwork you need to submit with your report)
